Sweet Carolina

This home a full-gut remodel, touching every space in the house. The design directive was to create an eclectic southern style home for a young family of three.  We started out by designing a new floorplan where the program fit the needs of their lifestyle. Adding molding + details that you would think they been there all along.

Adding functional use to the hallway from the front sitting room to back family room I created a built-in cabinet with a bar + a dining nook with a alcove with a bench seat + wallpaper with heirloom plates from family + friends hanging on the wall. The client loves to host dinner parties, so we wanted to give their guests a lasting impression with a Wallpaper on the walls + ceiling that will start conversations for hours, while the wainscot was painted to match.

Upstairs re configured the space for a new bathroom for their young son + guests. The details are traditional yet feel updated. The playroom was a place for kids to be kids, we painted the was in blue + white stripes so the client’s young son imagination can go wild.
